Background
In August of 2026 our Pastor, Dr. Adam Mallette, was called to serve as the next Executive Director of the Nevada Baptist Convention. His last Sunday will be October 11th, exactly six years to the date of his calling to King's Church. We begin this search with the hopeful expectation that the Lord has already set aside His man for King's Church.
King's Church is 61 years old and poised for a fresh start. Having recently completed a Regenesis Vision Process, we have an 18-Month Vision for the future of the church being executed one quarterly emphasis at a time. We have started implementing that vision by investing in our discipleship groups. We are also on the end of our Together We Build campaign, expecting to occupy our new worship facility debt-free in the next four months.
There is a hopeful expectation about what God is going to do in and through this church!

job description
The Lead Teaching Pastor is the senior spiritual leader of the church, and his
principle responsibility is to equip the saints for the work of the ministry, primarily through
the teaching of God's Word. As an elder, he will work in cooperation of the Board of Elders.

Requirements - Character, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- A man with demonstrated Christian Character
- A man effective in leading his home
- A man with a clear and compelling ministerial calling
- He possesses a minimum of a Masters of Theological Studies; preferably a Masters in Divinity.
- He possesses the basic administrative skills required to function in his role.
- He possesses the ability to teach, preach, and speak confidently before groups.
- He is self-motivated, spiritually mature, and driven to help equip the saints to do the work of the ministry.
